当法国调香师 Robert Bienaimé 于 1912 年为House of Houbigant 创作他的多花香杰作 Quelques Fleurs 时，他开创了现代香水的先例。在他的大胆发明之前，花香主要是单一的花香，或者花香与各种香草和香料的细微差别相结合。
