An interpretation of the traditional Ambrée style in which Aoud is often presented is transformed into an utterly contemporary Chyprè accord. This composition is formed around a central duet of Musk and Aoud, where a delicate note of Rose de Mai is made dry and natural by an abundance of woods and mosses. A rich and sensual base of Tonka Bean and Ambrette fused with leather-like Labdanum heightens the aphrodisiacal nature of one of perfumery’s most legendary materials - Musk. Totally unexpected and yet utterly compulsive, Musk Aoud pays homage to tradition whilst creating its own distinct path forward.
